A hackathon in Nashville for founders who want to ship

Founder in a Day is a one-day hackathon in Nashville for people who want to turn an idea into a working app. It happens at Music City Work Club, 4909 Alabama Ave, in The Nations.

You arrive with a problem you care about. By the end of the day you have something people can click through, then you show it in a public showcase from 5 to 6.

The format is vibe coding: you steer the build in plain language, with help in the room, instead of spending the day stuck on setup. Topics in the room can include product, prompts, launching, and how you sell — kept fast, not a slide marathon.

It is aimed at Nashville founders and operators, and anyone who can get to The Nations for the day. You do not need to be an engineer to join.

We do not promise you walk out with a customer. The goal is a working app and a public showing of what you built.

The next date is announced on founderinaday.com. Check the site for tickets when a date is posted.
